Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Over The Road Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver Over The Road , you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to their designated locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.
Looking for solo driver but (if you have a partner thats willing to drive with you they must also have dot physical and good driving record)
Must have a dot physical
Must know how to operate a pallet jack
Work at least 3 weeks
Be able to be on time for shipments
Must be able to understand and work a cell phone and various app for paperwork
Pay based off experience and background
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate *26 Foot Box Truck
- Transport goods and materials to assigned destinations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ensure that all cargo is properly secured before transportation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the appropriate personnel
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols
Skills:
- Proficient in operating heavy equipments
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating different locations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus
