Mover/Supervisor/Driver/Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with the moving process for our clients. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of items. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Ideal candidate will also want to be trained as a supervisor.

Positions for phone sales are also available. Phone agents work for home at a rate of $21/hr to start. You will be trained in advance. Ideal candidate will work in the field as a mover for 6 months before transitioning to sales training. Prior sales experience may allow for a faster transition from field to sales.

Duties

• Operate company vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Assist with packing and unpacking items during moves, maintaining organization throughout the process.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used in daily operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during moving assignments.

Skills

• Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of local roads and traffic patterns.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience in loading and unloading items efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Background in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when working independently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling items during transport.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and job requirements as needed.
• Ability to comfortably calculate charges and take payment onsite

Movers will be working directly with the customer, so customer service and professionalism is a must. Experience in the moving industry is preferred and will receive priority, but it is not necessary. You will be paid $18/hr Plus tips. Movers must be on time and are expected to work efficiently and carefully. After 6 weeks movers will be eligible for a $2/hr raise.

Drivers will be movers, but also carry the responsibility of being the job supervisor. You will communicate with your crew the meeting time in advance and will be responsible for communicating any delays or issues to customer and owner. As a supervisor you will be paid $23/hr plus tips. Supervisors handle the driving, customer contract, disassembly/reassembly, overseeing the packing of the truck and collection of payment. A daily job checklist must be completed. After 6 weeks supervisors will be eligible for a $2/hr raise.

Both movers and drivers are responsible for returning the truck and making sure it is clean and ready to go for the next day.
