Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely operating box trucks to deliver goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, route planning, and handling various loading and unloading tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using a liftgate, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques as needed
- Manage delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including assisting with product placement and addressing customer inquiries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Follow all company policies related to driving hours, safety procedures, and load securement
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving box trucks or similar vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of cargo safely
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively
- Excellent navigation skills for route planning and time management
- Provide own straps, pallet jack and load bar.

Pay: $750.00 - $1,600.00 per week
